Got my bamboo flattened and profiled. Gotta thin it a bit more but looking like I may be gluing up next weekend. Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere. I have decided that this will be getting dual shelves as long as the string tracks true center. Top limb is 10"tip to node and bottom limb is 10.5" tip to node.

One of the guys in the group is making me a power lam so now it'll be a quad-lam. Hopefully life slows down a bit here so I can get this ready to be tillered soon, only 2 weeks behind where i was hoping to be so doing good.

I understand that part:)

Was rooting through my wood box on the wall the other day, seems I have about 4 bows ready to be glued up.

Got all those rubber bands off and the riser overlay cleaned up this evening. The reason I tried the rubber bands, was it allowed me to slowly increase pressure and continually adjust the overlay into perfect placement inside the masking tape laid out on the glass.

Worked really well   However, I won't use that type of band again. They were like punching balloon bands. After 24hrs being stretched out, they started popping and breaking as soon as I touched them. Next time I'll try the normal tan rubber bands.

I think it turned out alright.

Hi guys,
i have been out for almost 10 months due to a bad accident, but now i'm coming back and recovering slowly. I have watched all the bows of the 2019 bow swap and what can i say, there are some really nice bows you have made. Excellent job ! I can't wait until i can start to build again my own bow...
