Couldn't you find a bow in that osage, Clint.
The cherry looks nice. Should make some nice lumber.

That's gonna be some sweet wood.

I'm surprised that Husqvarna even cut through it:)

Started prepping some turkey feathers for fletching.

Might take a while though  :biglaugh:

Putting a trilam together. Belly european hornbeam, center european walnut, backing hard american maple, powerlam jatoba.
Will be a straight limb one with one inch backset.
All three full length lams have a .003 taper.

Got this one glued up and cleaned on the sides, have not quite decided what I will make of it.

Yesterday in the bow shop.

Yup, I will when we do it.

It's 6 feet long but the far end is a little rough.

So I'll take 36 inches off the near end for lams and the other end will be risers.

Did some progress on the bow. It's only my 3rd bow and the second out of this form. So it is still kind of experimental. It is a very smooth drawing bow, kind of fast too but some what noisy.  I think I need to reduce the wedges to get more bend towards the tips.
Here is a picture at 28".
Any thoughts?
