Shredd, take a pic with a lighter background than black. I think the camera angle and shadows might be
messing you up. The top limb looks somewhat ok and the bottom limb does show what appears to be a flat section from the start of the curve above the fades to just before you get to the hooks. Cant' be if you use the same form.

I see what they are talkin about, but I don't think it's a flat spot. I think it's just shadows playing tricks, along with the fact that it is a very gentle radius leading into the sharper tips.

Ok...  I checked it and cannot find a flat spot...  Here are two pics...  One is mid limb and one is of the area in question...  Tell me where you see a flat spot...  You guys may need to see the eye doctor or stay off the hootch...

That's what I  was thinking. one can't be flatter than the other with the same form. Figured lighting and shadows was playing eye tricks.

Hey Roy...  What about you??  You are always putting circles on bows...   Why don't you put a true radius on this one??        Maybe blow up the pic a bit bigger so we can see any variations...

Ok...  I give up...  I was trying to mess with you guys for a bit...  Nothing better to do on a rainy day and most work is done... Gary you were close but no cigar...  Bvas was on spot when he said a gentle radius going into a sharper one...  And the rest of you were dead wrong...  No flat spot...

   It is an optical illusion...  The limbs appear to be a little flatter in that area but they are not...  I see it myself...  But I know how I built that form so I never checked it until today just to make sure I was right and not deceiving you guys...

   I thought about changing the design with a gradually tighter radius to be more eye appealing but I fear that it may take away from performance where I am getting 193 fps on my last set of limbs... Besides it looks good at brace...

Yeah...  Plain Jane...  Not into the fancy pants stuff yet...  You boys better stay off the Hootch...  The eye doctors would be a waste of money...   

It's 193 @ 10gpp...   Yeah I been working on it for a while...  It took me 5 bows with this design to reach that number... The others are around the 188 to 190 mark... I am still not done...  I think I will pop out about another 4 to 5 more to make sure I exhausted all my tricks...  Hitting 195 to 196 would be nice...   It's taken me about 40 bows to start zeroing in on higher performance...  I think there is a little bit more potential left in this design because it is barely stacking at 28"...
