Looks like it will be VERY interesting. Be good to see it all finished.

In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.

Love it, LOL

Stic, do you have something unusual for serving on the Black Beauty string?
Can't quite tell from here

Crooked Stic

Flem I bought that serving from Timberhawk at Tradfest. They said it was .020 halo. Got more white in it than most I have used. It works great with 14 strands of D-97. GT and Dark Timber nocks snap on but you can still turn the string. Perfect fit I think.

Looks good. Must be the pattern of the string, made it look like a diagonal wrap.
Pretty much anything looks exotic to me, I still use mono.  :campfire:

Here you go.

I use the brownell fast flight serving, about the same pattern.

OK, I see now. It's braided, duh.

The best serving I ever used, I ditched mono 20 years ago, it broke to often, always at an inopportune time like in the middle of a tournament.

What Have I been doing; picking and drying chanterelles.

Thats a lot of Chanterelles! Those things are expensive to buy. Wish we had them around here.
I've heard a lot of people complain about mono breaking. I can honestly say that I have never had a mono failure in 45yrs of using the stuff and as someone more eloquent than I said; "Mono will make a flat turd round"
