I started slicing up some old mill work that was in the burn pile at a Victorian remodel, I was working on some years ago. Turned out to be some nice Walnut. I have quite a bit of the stuff. Cant believe they were going to burn the stuff

I also discovered why my trade bow came out so much weaker than expected. The plank on the far right, that I thought was Walnut, isn't. It's Butternut! Rookie move

I glued up a nice bow blank for a wedding gift , grenadillo riser with osage accent curves, cherry veneers, and red elm cores. Also had to make a run to town to get my gal a birthday present .
