I took a break from building and went to a 3d shoot. Not a huge trad gathering but I took 2nd out of 8 or 10 folks. Could have had 1st but my hoodie string wrapped up in my bow string and gave me that 1 extra 0 that put me 3 points under 1st. Such is life.

I also picked up some materials from KennyM who was kind enough to drive 20 or 30 minutes (a special trip mind you) to meet me and let me save on shipping. There just ain't enough good things to be said about him.

Took my daughter to her first NASP state bow shoot. Her school(middle school) ended up taking third place. She ended up placing 129 outa 337 for middle school girls.

I doubt Kenny would meet me halfway to save shipping   But I will say every order I've received has exceeded my expectations.

I shot a 30 target trad only 3D yesterday too.

My hip did good but after 20 targets I was limping like ole Festus. LOL

I never saw it fresh cut before.   That color is beautiful.

It was a cool experience when the log finally split in 2.  It flopped open and at first you see the depth of the purple color, then your hit with a rush of that wonderful aroma.  Sensory overload for a few seconds.

That really is beautiful. Did you harvest that yourself?

It was in my Dad's yard and he had to cut it down.  I told him to put it on the side for me.  It's been in his shed for almost a year now.
