Bear Hunt with Russell outdoor guides

Counting down the days to a spring black bear hunt with Jerry Russell and Russell outdoor guides. We will be hunting the Mastigouche reserve in Quebec. Has anyone hunted with Jerry?  I can't wait to go , I think he has a couple spots still available!

I've hunted with Jerry a couple of times now. The wife and I will be there again this year. It's a trip you won't regret.

The bow is a 62" static tip of my own making.

You want to practice your 3 to 8 yard shooting. This one was about 6 yards. Just far enough away you can't smell their breath

Yep it's time to start planning! We have an awesome group and we can squeeze in one more hunter. 
For those that will be coming to camp- practice for CLOSE ENCOUNTERS. Bear Dog and I can't wait for June to get here.

Worth every penny! Lots of bears and Jerry is first class (after Bear Dog of course)

Yep ole Bear Dog has ALWAYS been the star of Bear Camp. Besides his antics around camp he LOVES his hunters and is nothing short of a laser guided tracking machine.  He is a huge asset when the going get tough on a blood trail. He has recovered bears with several tracks of over one mile and has a GPS recorded track of 3.2 miles. 
He stands for hours each evening waiting on the bear hunters to return so he can hear his favorite command- Lets go to work Bear Dog!
