The work that went into this buck and your dedication to our Creator is what made this story so great. Congrats on a fine buck !
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

The thrill of calculated preparation in conjunction with a wonderful harvest remains elusive to many of us.

This story was an absolute JOY to read! I am new to Tradgang and have not yet had the chance to read or participate in many of the threads, but if this story and the responses that followed are an example of what I can expect from this forum, the familial acceptance that I have heard so much about from places like the Traditional Outdoors Podcast and the Tradquest Podcast, I absolutely cannot WAIT for what is to come. Great story KAZ! Really enjoyed it:) :archer:

Thank you so much for reading and the wonderful responses  :campfire:

Thank you to my friend & photographer Ben for documenting the entire adventure even when I didn't know he was doing it. He is gifted and makes it look effortless. The photos along with sharing in a thread with Brothers of the Bow enriches the memories & experience... Thank you

What a great story!  An awesome buck, great pictures!  A few years ago I had a similar hunt on the last evening before shotgun season.  I was able to fill an antlerless tag in the last minutes of the season.  It's amazing how things can come together!
