Would like to see some pics or info on what the best bow hanger for treesrand use you have found. I'm using a 2 piece model that you can get about anywhere but when I try to remove my bow it gets stuck and sometimes makes noise. Ive seen some are using the command stick on hooks but I don't really want to stick anything on the bow. Thanks

1. Cut off 3 or 4 inch stob of a small branch in the right place
2. If no good branch I use the little rubber coated ones that look like tree steps.  Bought a 50 pack a couple years ago on amazon cheap.

unless you're using an old school longbow...you are goign to get that 'pinch' in between the string and limb with any type of bow hanger.   what I've started to do is hang the bow from my bow quiver on the hook.  didn't take a pic but will the next time out.

I usually do what Ryan does. Otherwise I do what Kenny m does and slide it inside my boot

cut the rubber off the little hook end or cover with some felt, keeps it from grabbing so much.

If there is a rail, I usually put two plastic hand clamps on the rail and lay the bow in the V made by the squeeze handles.  Works for me.

I purchased the third hand bow holder for my Lone Wolf. I have only used it a handful of times but I like it so far. I feel it is way too heavy and could have been made out of lighter materials. Besides that t hold my bow just fine.

On Kenny M's suggestion, I started hunting in rubber boots. I just slide my bow down inside my boot top! It upright and ready for action with little movement to get in shooting position! 👍🏻

I use the third hand on my lonewolf.  Even have my bow in it ascending and descending the tree.  When in a ladder i stick the lower limb in my boot.

I had the same issue with those type bow hangers on a bear hunt. Not having a lot available to work with at the time, I just cut off a strip of T shirt and wrapped it around the rubber part where you hang your bow. Issue gone! That was about 6 years ago and it's still there!
