Ninety degrees temps have significantly quelled daytime deer movement. However, the forecast of much milder temps at the end of this week is imbued with captivating meaning. The call of the wild will be singing an evocative song as I plan to answer and respond with the most unfeigned intent.

Many hours of prep since January, as in the past, should serve me quite well. Deer prep projects were complete by the beginning of September. Due to the heat, three more larger, future proposed, deer prep projects have been implemented.

The time to take to the field is closing in.

Am most hopeful, that many within our trad family are privileged to enjoy the best experiences offered by the resplendent outdoors.

Many thanks gentlemen.

Would suspect that there would be many others that are amped and have the pulsating urge to hunt coursing thru their veins.

Best of luck to the "Blue Grass" State hunters.  Likewise it has been HOT in SE Texas and with all the rain, we have more Mosquitos than the law would allow.  Thank goodness for Thermacell.

Get a Big One.

I don't pay no 90° any attention. I've killed so many deer down here in Georgia and the South on 90 degree days that I can't even remember how many I killed. Go afield and have fun. Best of luck, and I await your stories.... :campfire:
