I'm using an Easton Full Metal Jacket, .400 spine, 31.5" long, 3-4" parabolic feathers, 75gr brass insert, and 150gr point.

I have a 29" draw length.

It wasn't meant to be this afternoon! I had 3 different does under 10yds at one point or another. One had a real young fawn. I could have shot her, but felt she needed to stay around to raise her youngun!!!! The other 2 never would get "right", or what I call the "dead deer position". So, no shots taken today. Maybe tomorrow!!!!!

When I got back to the house, I set my chair 9yds from my bag target and stacked 3 arrows right in the spot I was looking at!

Came close this morning! Had tension on the string, but never drew back. It is like these deer can sense that there is a Primal Tech nearby, and so they know to not turn sideways!!!!! [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

Back in the blind for the rest of the afternoon. If I can't get a shot off here today, I'm probably going to move to a different setup for my next try!

Not looking good today! I was covered up this time yesterday, and there is not a single deer here tonight!

Well, had a couple scrubby bucks and the same doe with the little fawn that I passed yesterday come in right before dark. I could have shot her again, but just couldn't do it!!!! That fawn is just to tiny.

Anyway, if I can make myself get up in the morning, I'm gonna try a different stand and see how it goes there.
