Ok so this is a bit of a 2 part question. I recently received my replacement wood arrows and they are full length and already fletched. In the past with carbon or aluminum I bareshaft tuned and worked with a combo of cutting and tip weights. Well I have the spine that will be close with the tips I have, just will need to fine tune with arrow length to get them just right. Without stripping feathers on a shafts what would you suggest? Group tune, walk back or? Now for the second part of this question. I will be trimming 1/4" at a time and reaper retapering till I get the length correct. This will require removing and regluing my points a lot. I have duco and fer-l-tite glues, which of these 2 would you recommend

Fer-l-tite,  since it is heat activated it makes it easy to remove points.  I only use heat activated glue on heads.  I use Duco for fletching woodies,  never for heads.

See how they fly with broadheads from 20-25 yards.
I cut 1/2" at a time, 1/4 won't make enough of a difference for you to see.
Ferr-l-tite for points, Duco for nocks.

Got it. I'll be getting started on trimming and tuning today once it's light out

Well I did a walk back with field points and broadheads and have settled in with 28.5" bop 45-50# 11/32" woods. By far the straightest flying arrows I've shot out of a traditional bow. Usually I can see a slight wiggle out of the bow but these come off the string beautifully.

If you're getting straight flight on target with broadheads, you're there!
