I have a friend (81yrs. Young) just got diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. He asked me if I could find out what his 21st century would be worth. It is 47 lbs at 27" draw and 66". It is in great condition. It also was built in 1993 or 1994 by Jim Ploun and Buddy Stamper. I hope this post is ok to post. If not mods please let me know. Thanks Don

Used bow prices can be up or down.Depends on which 21st Century model it is and condition.I would guess around $200 to $250?

Within the past year,I sold a Jim&Buddy Nova, that was in GREAT condition for six and a half.Depends on how badly someone wants to acquire it. Good Luck!

Really Sorry to hear about your friend.

Hard to put an exact price on it.I do think it helps for sure that its made by the original Bowyers and the bows are no longer available.

The poundage is not bad.As it should be 53#s at 28 inches draw.Alot of guys can handle that weight. Many prefer lighter though.Average poundage shot these days is less in my experience than was shot in the 80s and 90s when the resurgence of traditional archery was taking hold.

I think the model would influence price. They had quite a few models. The Edge was very popular among 3-D shooters in its day.The Nova was also very popular and used in 3-D by high ranked archers as well. The Eclipse was also well thought of.Those would fetch the most IMO

You said excellent condition which is always a bonus.

I would say 250$ to 400$ as a ballpark figure. If its a premier model and someone really wants it.It may bring more.

God bless your friend.

I should have said 50#s at 28.Forty seven #s at 27" should convert to 50# at 28".Its a good all around poundage IMO to sale.

Jim & Buddy made some great & beautiful bows.  Here is a Nova that I reduced from 60#@27 to 40#@28.  Their bows were over built IMHO and therefore easy to reduce weight....tippit

Beautiful Nova with Rosewood riser and Osage limbs...
