Arrows.... how heavy/ fast

Torn between arrows for the hunting bow.
470 gr carbon at 199 fps vs 585 gr aluminum at 185 fps...
Bare shaft of aluminum is a tad weak but both shoot well with 5" feathers.

Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy

It is a 53# Border Covert Hunter.  The suck up arrow weight really well and still remain very quick.

Another vote for heavy. ... I don't have a chronograph but my arrows are 60 gr and I think they're fast enough!

I like heavy also. What are the specs of your setup?
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

I would go heavy. You cite good speed along with this increased weight. That seems to be a very desirable setup.
