This is why you always wear eye protection.   My Robertsons Fatalstyk exploded during my daily shoot.  If i had not had sunglasses on the string wouldve hit me squarely in the eye.

My A&H broke a few years ago, so I know the sting.

Those are solid bows and you could own a dozen more that would last a lifetime. I certainly feel your pain and wish you the best especially with season fast approaching.

I hope they work with you as well. Years ago I had an 65# Asbell Bighorn come apart at full draw. It hit me in a lot of places, but thankfully missed my eyes. It "just" happens. Glad you're ok.

All blowouts are a bummer, and yours is scary. Had a similar on an old twisted bow; got a little rattled.
Got a brand new bow from a well respected long time bowyer last Friday, felt and heard a snap under the grip on Monday. Bowless now too. Less expensive than yours, but I can sure relate.
As said though, glad you didn't get hurt... that was close!

All bowyers have failures eventually, even the best ones.  Even with painstaking work materials sometimes do what they want to do.  Shoot trad long enough and you get stories of blown bows.  I've had old timers tell me that if someone claims to have shot a lot of bows for a long time and says they never had a failure they're pulling your leg.

Many factors at play.  You didn't describe much what happened...did it go at full draw?  Upon release?  Did your arrow make it down range? Yes/no?  Maybe nock slip off?  String break?  How many gpp arrow?

The Robertson's have been around a long time and have always offered an exceptional product.  If the bow is out of warranty you'll  have to take your licks unfortunately.  Knowing them they may be able to help get you back shooting but don't expect any freebies and if by grace they do take care of you, please be sure and share it with us all.  Glad you're ok and sorry to hear about the bad luck.

I had a browning explorer explode  at the release and also 2 compounds limbs fail at full draw/at the shot (one left limb bits in my left arm) the other  hitting the rail of a tree stand(but I still got the deer) either way a lot of bad energy coming your way  always a check you shorts moment . Glad your ok, but always remember  any tool/machine can be subject to failure.

I still have several bows (much to my wifes chagrin) but this was a favorite.

I was on shot 12 of my daily practice.   Shooting bamboo shafts.   I pulled to full draw and kaboom.   The string hit me hard enough in the eye to knock the lense out of my oakleys

Glad that you are OK, and glad you have more sticks to shoot.  I have had a few come apart on me, with no injury, but it makes you pucker a little when drawing the next bow

I had 3 bows collapsing, 2 from the same bowyer that I don't trust any more and another with less than 100 arrows shot. I am been lucky to don't be wounded by anyone.

Were you the original owner?  How many owners has the bow had and how old is it?  If you aren't the original owner OR the warranty period is up you have zero right to feel entitled to anything sorry to say.
