Thanks! Another thing I am wonderimg about is an arrow pass. Didnt really think about it earlier but wondering now if I should add something to protrct the wood or if the polyurethane would be plenty? And if it needs the extra protection does anyone have any suggestions?

A thin piece of leather or a piece of the soft side of velcro.

Will make the arrow quieter also.

Thanks! I have no suitable Velcro. Ut i have leather scraps. I will fashion something temporary when I take it out for its first firing session.

Made a simple arrow pass. Really didnt want to glue the leather on as the only leather i have is quite soft and from experience with the pass i made with the same stuff when I made a new pass on my Korean bow, it will wear quickly. So I laced it on. Lacing didnt come out the niceat looking but it holds tight enough. The leather conformed very nicely though.

Okay so initial trip out to the range it looks like i am going to need to learn to make arrows or at least study up on spine selection amd weight. Of the variety of arrows I brought just to see if i would get lucky. Not one shot Well. Some did a little better then others but by and large all of the shot far to the left, fish tailing dramatically and thry would always enter the target at an angle.
