The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Thank you all for the prayers and support. Dale has finished two rounds of six of chemo therapy. They have him on six different medications with this therapy. Some are through IV, one is oral, and one is a shot in his back into his spine/nervous system. The spine shot is very painful. He is doing well and in good spirits. We hope to wedge in a fishing trip and an antelope hunt between chemo sessions but that will depend on Dale's energy levels and how he is feeling.

Best to ya all, Ken

Attitude seems to be so KEY in these situations...

I'm awed by those who keep the shiney side up... I don't think any of us can be too definitive on what WE'D do in like circumstances...

Prayers continue!

Dale has now had 4 sessions of Chemotherapy ... he is doing well and his mid point petscan came back with excellent results. On a scale of 1-5 1 being best he received a 1  :clapper:

He and I just returned from an antelope hunt in WY and we were fortunate to both shoot an antelope. A buck for Dale and a doe for me. This hunt meant very much to Dale as he is not sure that it might not be his last one. I am confidant it will be just one of many more. His strength is lacking but he was able to get that string back when it counted. He and I have been hunting together since 1973 but this will be our most memorable hunt for sure.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

Many Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Dale had his pet scan after completing his chemo therapy regiment and has been advised he is in remission.  :clapper: From stage four to remission  Thank you

His journey was a tough one but he is a tough guy and has a great support group.

In December we will be able to go on our St Judes quail hunt in NC with Joe Tilford. This hunt was delayed last year because Dale had a new knee put in ....

Best to all of you  :notworthy:  Ken
