Hey guys, I have access to some good beechwood. Is it any good for bowmaking...laminations, core, riser,?

Beech is strong and works well in risers. It might be a bit brittle for cores, but it should be good as veneers under glass.

Thank you for the answer, my brother issues owns a woodworking, shop. Got some in and wondered if I wanted it. Very nice grain. I may take it make risers and laminations. What I read did not speak well to core material due to compression (believe I stated that right).
