Thanks to all.

Any of you guys heard from Steve about this string? I sent a PM, but have heard nothing back. Just wondering if my PM didn't go thru or something else may have happened????

Last string went today.
For the long bow ones, I put some Bow Hush yarn in with them.
There if you want to use it to wrap a bit of the ends
Thanks!

Endless loop string arrived today. To start with it is obviously well made. Servings are very tight. Loops  are correct size. The 56" length is spot on. The string on the bow had stretched about a 1/2 so this string raised the brace height a little. I shot a dozen arrows with the old string measured the nocking point and put the new one on set up just the same. It was spot on but I couldn't tell any difference in the sound and it has the bow hush and puff silencers on it. I swapped out for a 100 grain heavier arrow which put it a little over 10 GPP.  We still could not detect a difference. I added 10 twists to the string and shot another dozen arrows. It seemed the same. It has been strung a couple of hours now and there is no measurable difference in the brace height. I will leave it strung overnight and check it again.  I will try more brace height tuning tomorrow then swap it to another bow. Maybe the results will be different. More tomorrow. >>>----> Ken

Either. And thanks for the opportunity

I received my string today. Very nice looking string. I just strung it up and will let it settle in before I shoot it.
Thanks Steve

Received mine. I strung the bow, and set BH and put on nock points. Shot it several times in the basement, raining outside. The serving fits my specified nocks, and it seems to fling the arrow smoothly. Further testing this week, after the monsoons. So far impressed.   :archer:

I got home from turkey hunting today to find my string on the table. I'll get it strung up and see how it goes with it sometime this week!

Well, I was bored this morning, so I went ahead and string her up. I have a big 3D shoot this weekend and was going to wait till next week to play with it because I don't like changing things up right before a shoot or hunt.

Well, initial impression is two thumbs up! [emoji106] [emoji106] This string is very quiet and shoots great. I will give it a few days and come back with a second opinion, but so far, I'm liking it!!!!! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] So much so that I'm planning on leaving it in for the shoot!

I'm going to get around to testing it myself sooner or later...had a spool in my shop for months to try out, but been too busy.  I don't expect there to be a noticeable difference between it and BCY-X...but I could be wrong.

Other than strand diameter, I can't see any. Actually tough to see any difference between it and Mercury. Might have a slight advantage with the Vectran in higher temps.

I went out and shot some more as it was cooling off this evening. I was getting some string slap on my arm, and had a pretty good idea why!

I removed the silencers from the string, and made up some new yarn wool silencers, and placed them 13" from each end of the string. Got it shot in and trimmed down. Shot probably 100 more shots after replacing them and have not hit my arm once!!!!

I went from a D97 string to this string. I cannot tell any real performance difference, but I do not have a chronograph to verify any speed difference. I do believe this X-99 string is a tad quieter than my old string, and if you are a hunter like me, that is always an advantage.

Thanks again, Steve, for allowing me to partake in this test!

Just shot some more today. This string is awesome, and will probably be my go-to for the foreseeable future!!!!

Been shooting my endless loop, whenever I get a chance- darn weather.
Since I set it up, and have been shooting it, it has only lost maybe a 1/16" in brace height.
It is smooth, quiet, with just the puff string silencers, and casts my wood and carbon arrows out of my 42# Longbow beautifully.
I plan on switching it to my heavier longbow (52#) to see how it handles.
If the top loop is wide enough I may try my 50# Recurve, with Static Tips.
