Been a while since I've run into this.
Do I remove wood from the off string side? The string grooves are small and straight. Not much room for adjustment.

I scrape from the side I want the string to go. Atleast that's how I align English longbow styles. So essentially, thin the left side of the belly in the picture.

I hope that helps,

Pretty sure it is the opposite Mo.  The side the string is pulling toward is stronger, so that is where you sand.

Thanks, I was trying the left side earlier with poor results.
I'll give the right side a try.

Finally found the culprit. Since I narrowed the limbs so much the bamboo was pretty thick, way thicker than I normally use.
One side the bamboo was thicker than the other.
Removed more wood from the belly on the thick side and it is coming around.

Hey Roy I was looking all over for your diagram. Had it saved somewhere.
Thanks.
