The in-laws just bought a 20 acre farm in Northern MI (Just East of I-75/Wolverine).  Hoping to contribute to this thread shortly!  Heard from the previous owner that a 20+- heard of elk move through in the Spring and we've already seen an ample amount of timber goat tracks!!!!  I'm stoked.

Homey88

Sawpilot that is a monster!!!!

Finally got up to my camera in a wilderness area, disregard the dates (add approx 4 months...and six years lol).  Elk sure were scruffy coming out of our long hard winter, hope the die off wasn't too bad.  I've seen a lot of young dead bighorn carcasses around SW Montana this year.

Pretty good, but nothing like yours!

[attachment=1]Got  this guy again, same area as before , close to better half's favorite stand, gonna have to be real nice to her and see if she'll let me hunt it once or twice. Her stands ready to go  so gonna sneak in  one more time in a couple weeks and pull camera and leave the area alone till we're ready to hunt.
Now we're digging where the taters are.

Homey88

Northern lights that is a great deer! Wow!! Hope you can connect on him!

Thanks Homey, he's what I call an arrow knocker, see him coming and the arrow starts knocking on the shelf and riser, just kinda cool knowing there's bucks like him around, makes it  a little easier to give the smaller ones a pass early in  the season.
Now we're digging where the taters are.
