I picked up an old bow a while back and because my right leg isn't doing good. So with nothing to do but set with leg elevated I cleaned it up and tried to shoot it. It only 39# at 28" and shoots well. Its an old lemon wood long bow with some red backing. Does anyone know what the backing is

Some pics might help.

Compressed paper or fiber board.  Is it a York?

The York lemonwood ELB I have has a "YORK" decal on it. I'm not familiar with the marking style on your bow.
Looks like 68", 38#@28"  The "M" is possibly for male but I'm not sure.

I have a copy of an old York catalog that a guy at York sent me but I can't find it. When I do I'll see if it says anything about those figures.

The red backing appears to be some sort of tank....
