Georgia hog hunt II...

I found an old roadbed next to some water, there was hog sign everywhere due to the abudance of white oaks, but I had yet to lay my eyes on my first hog, the sign said they were there, but our paths just hadn't crossed yet.

I was blessed to have my wife along on this trip, she doesn't hunt but she enjoys getting out and enjoying the outdoors with me, she's also a great photographer.[attachment=1]

We found some real interesting scenery and still found plenty of hog sign, but I still hadn't seen a hog, but I was still doing a lot of exploring just trying to feel my way around the WMA.[attachment=1][attachment=2]

I enjoyed my hunt in Georgia, I covered a lot of ground, I got to spend time with my wife, I didn't kill a hog, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a success. I learned a lot about the area and The next time I have a couple areas that I can concentrate on more heavily on my next hunt, and there will be another hunt.
