Peroxide??

Might test on a scrap first to make sure it doesn't bleach the wood.

You can try this: sprinkle baking soda on the blood stain then dip a soft bristle brush (an old toothbrush works well, especially for the size of the spot in question) in white vinegar and scrub the spot.

At least you can say you've drawn blood with your bow
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

Seems like every bow I make has some kind of character mojo flaw  :knothead:

Make it your builders mark.  "That guy marks each one of his bows in blood" that would be cool  :saywhat:
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

BMorv

On a serious note, that has happened to me a bunch.  A little sanding does the trick for me.  I guess you don't have that option on that bow though  :dunno:

Peroxide. Guys at local locker use all the time for their white aprons

Thanks by the time I got the front profile done and sanded it was looking better its still there but minimal , its a hunting bow so Im sure there is going to be other beauty marks eventually !

Heck, leave it.  Adds character like nothing else.
