INFO: Trad Archery for Bowhunters



Went turkey hunting......so what do you think died?

Well, I went to the lease last week to get in a little turkey hunting. I only saw gobblers one time in 4 days. Actually got a shot at a nice tom. Got a passthru and he ran out about 400' of string tracker line before it broke off. Needless to say, I did not recover him!         :mad:              :mad:              :mad:              :mad:      

The first afternoon I was there was pretty fun though. The pigs were coming out of the woodwork! I ended up shooting two of them (one boar and one sow). Both were great BBQ size. Here are the pics:

Does the boar have a chopped off tail? Just curious, a good friend of mine in Freer does that when he catches a young boar after he castrates it, by doing so he knows the boar will not be rank when it is killed after it gets older.

Danny, that little boar did have a stubby tail, but he had all his particulars also. I don't think his short tail was an act of man!
