I was able to put a few days in at the lease this week. I arrowed a nice doe on Monday afternoon. My buddy had his tracking dog with him and we had already decided we were going to let the dog track anything we shot. That almost turned out to be a bad decision as the yotes got to her before we did. Luckily all they got was heart, lungs, right side rib cage, and part of the right side shoulder. Here is a couple pics of the deer:

Then on the last morning (Wednesday) I shot a squirrel. Figured i would try some fried squirrel for lunch one day.

See y'all later,

Nice Job!  Just curious, how long did it take for the coyotes to find her?

Need to get them coyotes later on . Nice doe and good shooting on the tree rat.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.
Yip yipahooooo yipyipyip.

Congrats Bisch. Man you really know how to get at them.

They did all that damage in less than 2 hours. I suspect if it had been a long tracking job i would not have had any edible deer meat left.

Congrats!  Like that you're putting the fear of God and arrows into the squirrels, too.  Bet it won't be long before we see some yotes on that log, either.
