few gar from this morning/more from today 8/23

Here is a few gar I shot this morning, I was gonna take my bowfishin airboat and head up the river this morning, but when I got up the wind was calm (which it hasnt been all year!!) so I hooked on to my center console aluminum boat instead and headed for the lake. Took a while to find them but finally found some rolling gar and shot these before it got to hot and the wind picked back up. ended up with 4 needle nose with the biggest going 27lbs and 1 gator gar. used a fedora stalker 45@28 with ams reel.

It can be arranged!! could swap trips. I shoot rollers out of center console during the day and have an airboat we take out at night or when we go down the trinity. This time of the year is real consistant for being able to find rollers during the day but the heat is a killer!!
