Great Job fellows. That turf looks amighty familiar. I bet that creek had alot more water in it back in Dec. Nice hogs Rob. DB

When I had come back from my first tracking effort on the pig, to meet up with Terry, I did a search for the arrow and found it - it was a complete pass through, and the feathers were now a matted blood brown and no longer bright yellow.  The uber sharp Wensel and mighty Mohawk had done their jobs perfectly, all I hadda do was point those tools in the right direction.

After a brief rest, Terry and I did some picture taking, Terry field dressed the hogs, we loaded them onto the back of his Range Rover, and headed back to camp.

It was late evening, perhaps around 10:30 or 11pm, and we were dog tired as the physical activities and steaming heat took its toll on us both.  Back at camp we celebrated with some ice cold Gatorade, then commenced the skinning and butchering.  Didn't finish up 'til past midnight, and after some well earned (and most delicious!) eats, we finally bunked down somewhere after 2am.

Steaming jungle heat and all, this was still a truly great hunt for me and I owe a great debt of grattitude to Terry and Michael for making this hunt possible and for Terry's expert knowledge in all manner of hunting - his guidance was the prime reason I had a perfect opportunity to down a good hog, and my fortune was blessed yet again with another hog.  Ya just can't beat that, humid heat or not!

Oh yeah, "Stand #4" is now officially known to me as "#4 Revenge"!  And I got my revenge two fold!

Rob, way to go man! I think you need to talk to Whip about a distinctive hat - all that separates you from archery icon status. Nice shooting and great telling!
