Nice...I wish there were that many people around me interested in bow making.

Question. When you fellows pull those R/D bows out of the form what ever profile it keeps that's what you trace the riser out with right? In other words the riser and bow fit together perfect no stress or forcing?
Life is to short to pass up anything that could potentially be bow wood!

Yeah, that's the biggest PITA in building a tri-lam as far as I'm concerned. Cut, sand, check, sand, check, sand, check, repeated a thousand times.
You can also use thin strips .125" or so and it will bend to the exact curve.
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood
