-Thank you Roy, You really spelled out the process for us newbies. This bow shoots pretty nice although it draws a little light, #38@28". I have already started cutting and tapering the lams for the next one. I need some Bamboo. Any chance that you could sell me two or three pieces?
   Thanks again

Beautiful bow Tim.  Ole Roy is a pretty good teacher!

Very Nice Tim!  I like that bend.  You'll get better with draw weight estimation the more you do.
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

Thanks folks, I appreciate the kind words.
Kenny, I have that other laminate bow build on hold. I was collecting supplies for the press-form when I read the Topless Form thread, and changed to go with an easier way. I ordered LVL instead of plywood and am leaning on my brother, the Electrician, for some Mule Tape.
I may use the Topless/firehose idea and build a similar form for my next tri-lam.

Nice work Tim.
Roy's pretty slick with the trilams. But if ya want to send him in a tizzy, just ask him about a quadlam.  :biglaugh:

The FedEx driver just delivered my order from "Beautiful Bamboo of Florida"!
Two poles, 6' long 3.5" dia. Can't wait to get to the shop and rip these into backing strips.
Thank for the heads up Roy.

Thanks. It's 60", I still have some spot to work out of it, I just have to make myself not rush it or settle.
