Set the blind up in the yard and practiced shooting from a seated position. Loving the new shorty in the blind!!

Turkey season opened Monday, but tomorrow will be my first day in the woods.

Wish I had a success photo to share, but all I got is a dirty broadhead.

Called a nice Tom into 10yds with nothing but air between me and him. He spooked and I rushed. At about 18yds he slowed to a walk and I sent one on it's way. Wide right. :banghead:
Oh well, guess luck was on his side today. Cool experience though to have a big Tom spittin and drumming right in my face.

Dannon

Kenny, no this one is gonna be mine! I actually did think about keeping the one I built for my victim and building this one for him, but not sure I'll have it done by the deadline.

Was able to get out to do some turkey hunting.  First nice weekend in I don't know how long.  Called a pair into range and was fortunate enough to connect with one.  Trying a new broadhead this spring called a bloodsport turkey lopper.  It did the job real quick.

Awesome Mitch!!

I "let" the turkeys win round two today. Had four toms and two hens within 20yds and couldn't get a clear shot.

Thanks guys.  Every once in a while things work out chasing these birds.  Keep at it.
