So I tillered my one bow to a 7 inch brace using a string I always use for tillering. The bow in question is 64" nock to nock measured along the belly. It's a R/D bow so I dropped 3 inches and made my new string to 61". Same as the tillering string. But now the brace hight is way to high. I'm using dacron b 50.  Does it just need to stretch out or should I be making my strings longer?

B50 will stretch quite a bit. Put about 20 shots through the bow and it will stretch out. The new string should be around 61 after you twist it up after making it.

Put tension on each string and measure the string I bet they are twisted to different lengths.

A twisted string will also stretch more than a string that is not twisted. There's more material in a twisted string to stretch and the twists themselves will tighten when loaded providing even more stretch.
