Recurve limb delaminated

A lovely lady who wants to learn to shoot brought her old recurve to me to check out yesterday. It is a Shakespeare Nedecah, brown glass late 60s vintage, 58", 44#. I put my stringer on it and pulled it gently almost to the stringing point, and the upper limb came apart with a crash, split from the tip down through the recurve portion, maybe a foot. Is it now a tomato stake, or is it repairable without special equipment? The wood lamination is what failed, and it looks good when squeezed back together. She was so disappointed. Me too.

It's a wall Hanger at this point. You could glue it back shut but no way would I try to string it again
