Silk on Fiberglass?

I haave a wood-glass recurve bow that I've been thinking of wrapping in silk in the same way a bow is wrapped in birchbark -- a 2" wide 'ribbon' spirally wrapped from handle to tips.

What glue would you use?  My first thought is to use epoxy -- brush a coat on the limb, spiral wrap the silk, then brush additional epoxy over the top of the cloth.

What do you guys who decorate 'glass bows with snakeskins use?

Most use TiteBond glue for snake skins, rawhide, silk or linen.
Why are you wanting to add the silk wrap? It will restrict the limb movement some decreasing the performance.

I wondered about Titebond, but I'm not sure it would adhere to fiberglass.  

I want the wrap for aesthetics, I'm not a high-performance archer by any means.

TB is used by many to add snake skins to glass bows. I've never done it but you may want to knock off the shine with very fine sandpaper first.
A layer of silk added to the back would be less restrictive than the silk wrap.

i have done several glass backed bows and used titebond 3 for all. As Pat says light sand to remove gloss, 'size' with a coat of titebond and allow to dry. Dampen cloth or silk , apply the titebond to cloth after new coat of glue to bow and smooth out ripples etc and roll over edges slightly. allow to dry couple days and remove excess with very sharp blade .
