But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Has anyone heard about when mr troy will be getting back to work at woodgallery?

Big Bob, nice work. Who wouldn't want to say they made a bow out of Tasmanian Blackwood?!!! Too cool..

I love those down under woods! Bob, you make great looking bows.
I spent the evening tillering a tri lam to take to Hawkeye next week and it suddenly hinged just out of the bottom fade. I hate it when I find a weak spot in the wood like that. It just goes like a wet noodle.
Luckily I have another bow in the works that just needs finishing. When I have time I will salvage the riser from the failed bow. It's way too pretty to throw away.

Started my second attempt of a takedown today. Hope this one will work out for deer season coming up. It's about to come out of the oven soon.

12 year old grandson was here last night and he was shooting the bow I made for him 4 years ago. He gets a little better every time he shoots. He's getting bigger so I think it's time to make him a regular size bow. 10 yard group.

Nice pic, Roy.

I'm glueing a limb to overlay back onto my hunting bow.  Left it strung in the car on a sunny Colorado 90 degree day.   :banghead:
