got a set of ILF limbs shaped today..peeled off the belly tape to peek at the Maple Burl veneer.. its purty, no pics though. Ran some 1/16" black phenolic thru my mini drum sander for the limb butt and tip overlays..

Close to finishing a new ASL form. Old one was made of chip board and swelled up too wide.

I might have to change my name... I was working on a set of limbs this afternoon when a guy I know pulled into my yard..he said you want to sell your boat? I said "No" but I'll take $xxxx cash for it...well, it's his now..I only have my 12" jon boat and a broken paddle now..

Critter, I bought the 12' boat in 1984 and had a 7.5hp engine and a 24# thrust trolling motor on the front..I used it in small lakes and ponds where a trailered boat could not get into..I caught 1000s of bass and speckled perch in that boat.. the boat I just sold was 23' with a 115hp Yamaha used mostly for bow fishing Tilapia.. I'm gonna buy a new 50# thrust for the 12' and look at getting a "nucanoe" or something similar for bass fishing or fishing the coastal flats..

Hey Robert, I was just giving you a hard time about the typo in your post. You had a 12 inch boat not a 12 foot. I meant absolutely no disrespect in any way. The best boat I ever had was a 12' jon boat I used for duck hunting flooded timber. Got it in places other hunters couldn't go.

Critter I didnt take any offence. I seem to be going back to my roots..I used to fish several times a week, the last few years it been about 4 times per year.. Raining here with lightning right now..We are having my Dads 80th birthday party later today..I rented a room at a local Restaurant, no cooking or dish washing for me today..

I hear ya on the lack of fishing. I used to fish with my father in law almost every weekend. But I havnt even been this year so far. Life has a way of keeping you so busy that you don't even have a life anymore!

I graduated PT today... I flew through all the exercises like I never had surgery..

But I still need to be careful for a month or so longer...
