"Island Jam"-2015

so Cody ( krasus) came up for a week long visit in paradise- what a blast!!
nice long days, and late nights in the shop, we built bows,fixed forms, cody built an awesome quiver, did a little stumping, and to top it off we went out in the boat for an overnighter- and two days salmon fishing. filled up on some awesome chinook and coho salmon...
what a blast- cool getting to know a person behind the tradgang persona- had an awesome time- made a new friend and also got heaps done!!
"sorry hunee... cant do the chores- ya know- that freakin' guy is still here- i better go and help him out before he hurts hisself- sorry babee!! gotta run...." :D

anybody else wanna come visit- if i play this right- i can spend the rest of my life in my shop- just come in for meals and conjugal rights!!

seriously though... great having cody in the shop, he is a very skilled carpenter, and an accomplished bowyer- so was great being able to work without the coaching of a total neophyte, not that i mind that either- just a different vibe.

Lol holy I just got home. They lost my bows when I landed in vancouver lol. Thanks again for having me Wayne. I had a great time. You flatter me lol.

Yep got it! How do you lose a 6 ft by 16 inch case when I saw it get loaded into the plane and unloaded. Makes no sense. Lol beer run time!

That was a good sized fish- Cody is a big tough guy, he kinda dwarfs that fish.

Looks like you guys had quite the adventure!

I like building bows as much as the next guy, but when there's fishing like that .... I don't know how you ever bring yourself back to dry land!
