holy smokes...73#
yet another pretty bow Chris!

Trux Turning

Wow that's a beauty!! It's got some serious hooks going- almost looks like a semi- static. How does it behave?

chackworth3

Haha yep. It's not for me. One of my buddies wanted a 70#'er so I told him I would make him one. He's a little bit bigger guy than I am though

It takes everything I've got to draw it back but it shoots good. Sends a 700 grain 2219 down range with authority.

LittleBen

Awesome bow!

I was about to ask how you found the time to build a bow in between working out! 73# .... I could probably draw that bow .... once ....  before I soiled myself and my shoulder exploded lol.

Wolftrail

...73 Crazy Pounds,  how can you pull that.  :archer2:      Gorgeous bow by the way.

fujimo

i guess he dont have to pay... an yer not gonna mess with him   :biglaugh:

bigbob2

Sweet bow, good effort to draw it too, and it looks great!

Buemaker

Very nice, but only 73 pounds.    :D  Bue--.

BenBow

Love the look of the old style riser and great work  :)
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

JJB

Nice, smooth lines, very classy looking!

Used to be able to draw 70#, not anymore, wouldn't even try! Good looking bow though.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Dmaxshawn

good loooking bow Chris

Mad Max

Thanks y'all.

Mark, it's an 18" riser

Love the looks of this one! It has a classic look to it.  My Father and I built a longbow back in '82 that weighed at 72 lbs@28, but I haven't shot it in years. I would probably get sore! He told me tales of years gone by how he and his buddies would shoot 80-100 lb. longbows!
