In a wood/bamboo tri-lam,would flooring bamboo make a good belly lam, or is it best used for cores?

I think most say it's best for core wood. However, I just watched a so-so video where a fellow used it to make the whole bow. He did say the flooring was prone to take set, but felt it was a good stater wood. TIFWIW

Thanks Troy. I'll leave it for cores. I guess I asked out of frustration. I almost had my swap bow tillered and it started to hinge right out of the fade for no apparent reason.
