But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Will have to be Sunday if it happens this weekend, supposed to rain tonite thru 2:00 tomorrow.

Did call in 2 coyotes this morning, one at bout 7 yards, had to draw too quick before he hit scent , but didn't quite make it. They don't question the nose, he was gone in a flash! Cool tho!

very cool kenny, so when are these templates available for sale   :)   ,

and how did your recurve all work out?

where the take downs an extension of your 1 piece bows, or was it a totally new design.

what was your final evaluation on your forward riser design?

man you have been a busy fella since you "retired" from the bow supply world- a lot more time on your hands to do the real projects now, eh?   :D

kennym

No selling, but if I took a strait on pic , could you blow it up to actual dimension size?

The recurve was fine, but I still don't like recurves.

The TDs used the same limb profile as the 58/60 D/R, 12* limb pads on the ones with the exposed limb butts, 10* on the 2 I just finished because the add on pc of riser moved the handle forward and I wanted the same preload.

It turned out a bit more, the nocks are about 1.5" ahead of the handle back(target side) but it is a great shooter, albeit harder to string a little.

8.25" wedge straight tapered from .300" to 0.

The forward riser one pc I pretty much crossed off in a 64" design because I hate the looks of it strung. May build a 58" on that form some day.....

I've worked in a few projects of my own, but feel like I have some life now, actually turkey hunted yesterday without thinkin I needed to be in the shop!!  :D

Some pics of #2,it came in about 3/4 # heavier than # 1 but I'm good with it at 52.48# @ 28" in a 64" TD

They are nothing fancy, just a couple plain one wood(and some aboo) bows.

Confession- I bought a Samick Sage about 3 months ago. We liked the grip so well, I made these as close as I could, they are narrower at 1 5/16 wide but same basic shape.

Bro says his shoots better than any bow he has ever shot and texted me some pics this morning to show me. I even broke a nock while ago!
