Made my first reflex/heat treating caul out of two 2x6s. Similar in design of  Walt Francis\\' in this thread , so credit goes to him for the design idea.    :wavey:        :archer:

You folks need to check out the post on powwow section.

A little show n' tell from you great crafty folks is needed!

Eric has a very fine Osage static posted.

SportHunter

Picked up a used drum sander, router, spindle sander and tons of clamps off of CL yesterday. Also got most of the materials for my bow oven piled up and ready for when I have enough free time to build.

halfseminole

Hit the gym for strength training for both bows and general physical fitness.  Some stuff I did very easily and some was very, very hard due to deformities and the chair.  Still feels rewarding.

I even made it ten whole minutes on the treadmill.

That's great, Ed. Keep up the good work.

Robertfishes

glued up a ILF short limb.. I used Ash burl that I lightly dyed for back veneer and Chestnut burl for belly veneer. Amberboo tapers. This is the First short limb on this form..hoping for 42# at 28" on Helens 25" Olympic style riser.

Krasus

Got board.  Made a new riser for a straight limb. Had some zebra laying around.

I finished up a couple today.  How about some bow porn?  This is always really annoying to do on a phone, so gimme a min or two

Joe - I really like those.  Rarely do you see a glass r/d with a straight grip.  I like straight grips the best and those are really unique looking.

today I walked and scouted the hunt club I joined between Gainesville and Cedar Key Florida. It is  really thick and mostly pines.palmettos and gall berry with plenty of cypress heads, It can get pretty wet and floods at times. I found this area of oaks between some large wetlands, I took the picture from a 16 ft ladder stand. I should have a few deer and hogs feeding here when the acorns start dropping.   I got home around 5 and glued all the overlays onto a set of ILF limbs I am building for Helen.
