Here is my latest.  Osage riser and coco veneers 54" 49@27.  First time I have used Osage in a bow...mixed feelings on it. Also the first time I have used Krystal as a finish with an air hose that doesn't leak      Really like the Krystal

Good looking wood combo- plus it will continue to get better once the Osage darkens up some!

X2 what Trux said about the osage...in a few months it will have a completely different look.

I really like it!!  That osage will darken with time.

Yep, osage is loud for awhile, but really looks good later. Sunlight will darken it up pretty quick, I set one inside the patio door between the shade and glass where the sun could hit it and it darkened pretty quick, gotta remember to turn it once in a while...

Great bow Chris!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Osage with cocobolo is a great combo and as already mentioned, it only gets better with time.

I usually don't like "loud", but i like that color contrast just the way it is.  Ive got one thats been ready to tiller for a couple months thats got osage, ipe, and curly maple in the handle and i like it.

I love that color combo. Yeah, she will settle in after that osage ages some.

I personally love the contrast, but am interested to see how much it changes over time.

Bow looks great.

What are you using for the white labelling?  I haven't been able to find any white india ink markers.

chackworth3

I used a white gel pen. I can never write well enough for India ink and a nib pen
