I guess some folks just don't appreciate the organic, artistic effects of epoxy squeeze outs on fiberglass....

I just took my first ever glass laminate out of the oven last night.  Holy cow, that epoxy is some tough stuff.  I can't imagine not having the tape there.  I found out it can make a guy bleed!   :o

Last bow never laid down some clear wrap on form before glass and lams. Had a few interesting moments removing bow from form!

Best excitement I've had was when my buddy super glued his fingers together. I was no help as I was lmao at him.

Hey Bowjunkie, how about the time your glue up hit the floor? LOL

BigBob -- I always put at least two layers of tape on the surface of my form -- masking tape topped with clear shipping tape (*not& the kind with nylon in it).  Sure beats chiseling the bow off the form!

Rockkiller - I can honestly say I have not done that..YET...but not to "one up you" but I did tape the wrong side of my glass on the back of a bow. Which seems like a true brain dead thing to do. Fortunately with that situation I was able to remove the glass and use a second piece of glass. Costly but fixable.

I had stuff laid out in order and just finished taping the belly glass when I got a phone call.when I got back I just started gluing stuff up.
Bowjunkie says think three steps ahead, which is real good advice, but I ain't too bright sometimes and when I'm thinking about step 3 I already forgot step 1  :biglaugh:
