Well, that's it -- you've done it now. I bought the plans to get me started. I'll probably modify them a little, and I really like the idea of the larger belt size.

I almost bought the 6x80 at Grizzly this week while up near their Muncy, PA store. But it wasn't in stock and I really wanted a longer one. But the only longer options I found that were like the one in my dad's cabinet shop were also some serious cash. I think that building my own might just be the thing now that you have me thinking...

Canapyboy,I used a piece of hardboard and a piece of orange laminate I had laying around.If you use MDF make sure you predrill your holes.Test them out on some scraps.
