Well pulled mine off the caul after I got home she had completely cooled and moved quite a bit. I did string it up briefly. I will do it again later and see if weight was affected.

KellyG

Ok here is how the string is tracking now. Just a bit off.

Here it is at brace.

pulling almost 59#@27"

And after leaving braced for over an hour, exercising the limbs and putting about 10-12 arrows through it. Here is the unbraced bow.

Now it is a bow I need to do a bit more work but I have started some sanding and getting most of the tool marks out. I need to fill some checks with CA glue and I have a place in the handle were a knot was dug out I think I will fill with glue and sawdust (just to cover the splinters. I may not put a leather wrap on this one the wood looks pretty sweet.

Al Dean

Looks to be coming along nicely.  Going to be a nice looking bow.

Leave the right limb alone and get the outer 1/3 of the left limb bending a bit more.

Looking good to a glass guy

I'm going to be leaving for possibly up to three weeks on Monday.  I got the OK from Kelly to ship my bow.  Should go out tomorrow or Friday.

Pheonixarcher

Aside from a few dust particles, the finish looks good on my trade bow. I put a Velcro rest and side plate on, and shot it a bit. Everything is good to go. I don't like the looks of the Velcro, so I think I'm gonna swap it for some calf hair. Then I just gotta box her up, and get her to the post office! I'll be busy the next couple days, but hopefully it will get shipped on Friday. If not, Monday for sure. I hope I get some sun so I can get some good pics before she goes.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

How does she shoot, Kelly? I think it time to find out if you haven't already.
