I'm right there with ya on the the slacker Scars.  I haven't even started on ********'s bow yet.  I've only been planning stuff in my head.  Nothings in wood yet.  I've got enough time though.

LOL  D, my best bows are always in my head:)

I am trying to get a bunch of arrowheads and some flint knives finished before the drawknife hits the wood...and the darn stone has been a pain in the asteroids....three knives became arrowheads, I thought my knapping tools were cursed..

Hopefully all the bad mojo is gone when the steel hits the wood in the next week or so...
All these bows being made make me feel a little behind the curve....

Roy, if you need a place to send that bow, I'll give you my address!  A few pounds under weight won't hurt my feelings a bit!  I've always wanted to try one of your BBO's anyway.  They just look so dang nice, and I never have time or materials to try one myself.  Someday, maybe...

One of two things will happen; it'll either work or it won't.

You guys don't listen well, I said it's going to be mine.   :)  LOL.. I'll not know for sure till it's finished, but I know it's no where close to  50 or even 45. 40 - 42 would be my guess.... But thanks for the compliments boys.

KellyG

eh eh roy you talking Speak up brother and send that bow my way. The first one needs a break from me shooting it.

Sounds like a good candidate for an experiment in adding a gemsbok horn belly slat! That would make a really unique bow. Not alot of guys out there doing that.

HAHA plus Roy, maybe using some of that gemsbok horn will help ween you away from that fiberglass.

So do you think this has the makings of a trade bow? 62" lb, zebrawood and wenge, 14" riser. Targeting somewhere between 40 - 50 lbs. I'm not experienced enough to confidently zero in on weight yet...

This will be the palm side view...

Looks good, Beach Boy!

My wife just texted that I have a long package at the house. I ordered materials from Pine Hollows Saturday afternoon and it's already here!

Looks like we may not have school tomorrow so maybe I'll get to start on my trade bow.
