Really cold here , high of 14* today.

I'm drawing on my forward handle longbow. Nothing new, just looking at some other bows and trying to get all the stuff I like rolled into one....   :)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Just did a "dry run" on a recurve. It went well so I might glue it up later tonight...UPDATE.. Got it glued up and in oven, checked it a couple of times and its fine, after an hour and half in oven the hose pressure was 70psi and oven temp was 155 degrees..the pin timer will shut oven off at midnight..I'll check it in the morning.

Yesterday the wife and I went shopping at the pet store. Had to put down my baby boy bird dog of almost 17 years a couple weeks ago. Hurt like hell to lose a close friend of so many years. So we have a new baby coming this weekend, a female chocolate lab, I named her Annie... She was 6 weeks old in the pictures. She is such a little sweet heart and she is going to be spoiled rotten..  :)

Sorry you had to say good bye to a good friend Roy.
That's always a rough time. I'm sorry.

The little pup is a cutie.

Thanks, John. I cried for two weeks.

Sorry for your loss Roy. I feel your pain brother! I've got a 15 year old black lab that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. She hasn't hunted in 3 yrs. just enjoys a life of luxury. The day i have to put her down is soon approaching.

Sorry to hear that, Roy. I know she won't replace the one you lost, but nice new pup.

Bad about your mate Roy, hope the little new girl can take up the slack a little.

Roy - Sorry to hear it was time for the old boy to move on.

That new pup is a cutie.  I hope you're going to bring her along to the PLA shoot this summer.  She'll probably chew up all your bows.

Sorry about your pup Roy.  My yellow lab's ashes are still riding around in my truck with me after two years.  Can't bring myself to say goodbye yet.  Good lucking pup there.  Shes a cutie

kennym

Glad you are getting back to having a dog Roy, I waited 4 or 5 years, now it seems wasted time.....
Stay sharp, Kenny.
