This sander has 4 rubber pressure rollers, and never lets em slip. The slads are sanded with 40 grit, so I don't put anything on em...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Ok on the 4 rubber rollers and pressure, but what are slads? LOL    :wavey:

Thanks ole boy..

I don't have 4 rubber rollers on mine. I have 2 metal rollers. I've had lams and cores slide a wee bit on me on a couple occasions. I put adhesive backed no-skid pads on my sled.

I have a simple set up too, Kenny... one sled does it all       with virtually ANY degree of taper possible.

slads are whut you eat before the main course, son....

Sounds like it Jeff! Like the any degree taper for sure.

I may have to grind several different rates in a day, so to save time, I just grab the proper sled and don't have to adjust anything.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
