If I might ask one final question- what is that red box on the riser, shown where you cut the shelf with hacksaw? Is it for a square cut?

MoeM I think its just part of a clamp to hold the riser still while he cuts out the shelf   :wavey:

Great looking bow ~ a wood and d wood are really amazing looking. hmmmm has me second guessing my plans for my 1st glass bow. Thanks for a excellent build along, will really help me in the next couple of weeks.
