Just finished this riser today. It is Osage Actionwood and black glass. 13" with an 18 deg. limb pads. It ain't perfect but I am happy with it. Also got to use my brand new grizzly oscillating spindle sander which made shaping a breeze. Unfortunately I don't have any limbs so I won't know how it works for a little while.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks! Coming from both of you, that is a HUGE compliment. Not quite in love with the grip yet but won't take much tweaking to get right.

Where do you get Osage actionwood? Man 13" is tiny!! Cool deal.

I got my wood from Bingham's, they have a large selection of actionwood, dymondwood, and hardwoods.

Very cool man. Love that osage actionwood. Are those the donkey ILF inserts?

Lookks really nicely done. I've really gotta get on to making an ILF riser ... got a riser block ready just got too much goign on still ...

Where's you get the actionwood in osage color?

Thanks Everyone! Got a set of Black Max limbs on the way that should be between 44-46# and make a 56" bow on the riser. Hopefully be shooting by the end of the week.

LittleBen, those are the donkey inserts, probably the easiest insert to install and very solid. Got the actionwood from binghams.
